Lorenzo Savadori returns to action at Mugello with a double mission: to compete in his home Grand Prix and to continue the key development work on the RS-GP25.

The Aprilia Racing test rider sees the Italian track as an ideal opportunity to build on recent technical progress. The data gathered from the post-race test in Aragón has proven valuable, offering new paths to explore throughout the Mugello weekend.

‘Mugello is a fantastic circuit and I can’t wait to get on the track there. After the Aragón GP, we did some extremely important tests that truly interesting aspects came out of. During the Mugello weekend, we’ll also continue developing the bike. There will be tons of fans and it’s always great to be back racing in Italy,’ said Savadori, looking forward to racing at home.

Savadori’s role has been crucial behind the scenes at the Noale-based team. Riding the same RS-GP machine used by the full-time racers, the Italian helps validate technical solutions, refine electronics settings, and test components that may play a key role during the season.

The Mugello round, beyond being a celebration of Italy’s passion for motorcycle racing, also marks an important step in Aprilia’s development roadmap. With its thrilling layout and demanding character, the circuit offers a real test — and for Savadori, more than just a race, it’s a chance to move the RS-GP25 project forward.
