There we go as expected, but in great! Marc Márquez took the pole position for the Aragon GP, after «letting» the opposition dream briefly, «only» to take another pole position, with a time no one has ever had in Aragon!

The first fast lap saw Marc Márquez immediately displaying his magic on track, making it clear what his intentions were at MotorLand with a time of 1:45.986s. Álex was 0.437s behind, Brad Binder was third, Pedro Acosta fourth, and Johann Zarco fifth.

#73 improved but was still not at the level of the championship leader, trailing by 0.221s, while Acosta was also gaining momentum, having one of his best rounds of the year so far in terms of sessions.

Midway through the session, Pecco Bagnaia found himself in a tough spot, sitting in 11th place behind Fermín Aldeguer and Joan Mir. Only Di Gia, who had just gone out on track, was behind #63.

On his return, Bagnaia had dropped to last place behind Di Gia but was improving with red sectors, potentially securing a front-row start—but just barely. The Italian clocked the fourth-fastest time, finishing 0.019s behind Acosta.

Then Álex Márquez stepped up and beat his brother’s time. The Gresini rider set a lap of 1:45.964s, with Franco Morbidelli also surpassing #93 with a lap of 1:45.984s. In an instant, Marc was third, but he wasted no time and was already fighting back.

And there it was, no surprise, with Márquez getting back on «his throne», as he became the first once again, in 1:45.704s, and in style as he breaks the all time lap record! No words to describe what the #93 is doing!
