The key elements of the Festival Logo are the map of Rivers State with the colour of blue depicting the peaceful and hospitable nature of the people. It floats on top of a calm flowing river, which also depicts äbiding love" that exits among the 23 Local Government Areas. This love flows from the deep blue seas on which we are naturally located, being an amphibious state, to the 36 states and Abuja.

The icons bearing the Festival Torch of Unity represents the athletes of the participating states, symbolizing the promotion of natural interaction. The colours of green and white depict the National colour, natural beauty and friendly environment for the games. the orange colour is a spur for participants to exert energy and passion in order to excel in the spirit of the game, having behind their minds the ambition of adorning the national colour in international events such as the Olympics.
