Harrison Voight joins EAB Racing for the rest of the 2025 season, after the Belgian team ended their collaboration with Loris Veneman in May and sought a new rider for WorldSSP.

The 19-year-old Australian was without a permanent seat after making a one-off substitution for D34G WorldSSP Racing Team at Phillip Island, where he replaced the injured Glenn van Straalen. Now, number 29 has an opportunity to show his worth in a team looking to complete the season with renewed ambitions.

Voight demonstrated promising qualities in his only appearance so far in the world championship, overcoming adversity in his home race. Despite suffering an unfortunate crash in the first race at Turn 6, the athlete managed to recover in the second race and finish in 14th place, scoring important points for his curriculum.

The Australian rider’s international experience was a determining factor in EAB Racing’s choice. With stints in the Asian Talent Cup between 2019 and 2020, followed by two seasons in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, Voight built a solid path before evolving to higher categories like JuniorGP, Moto3 and Moto2. This baggage will now be put at the service of the Belgian team starting from the Misano round.

About this new opportunity in his career, Harrison Voight didn’t hide his enthusiasm: ‘I am happy to be joining the EAB Racing Team and I’m really looking forward to making the start in the World Supersport Championship at Misano. Thanks to everyone who made this possible, I will do my best!’ Team Manager Pjotr Groenenberg explained the process that led to hiring the young talent: ‘After Cremona, we evaluated what and who we needed to complete the season successfully. That’s when we received the recommendation from Rob Vennegoor to get in touch with Australian rider Harrison Voight. We approached him, and he approved the opportunity with both hands.’

Groenenberg also highlighted the new rider’s potential, despite his age: ‘Even though he is only 19 years old, he already has a lot of experience and certainly has the potential to show something special. He has previously stepped in as a replacement rider in the World Supersport field in Australia. Alongside riding for our team, he is also competing in the FIM Moto2 European Championship.’ Voight’s double commitment demonstrates his determination to gain experience and evolve quickly in international competitions.
