This weekend’s French GP marks the second European round of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship – and the sixth overall. It also marks the season opener for MotoE.

In MotoGP, Álex Márquez (BK8 Gresini/Ducati) arrives fresh off his first career win and leads the standings by just one point ahead of his brother, Marc (Ducati Lenovo). Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) sits third.

After a strong showing in Spain, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) aims to repeat that performance at home… as does Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda LCR), who hopes to shine again after finishing fourth in Qatar.

In Moto2, Manuel González (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP/Kalex) leads the standings following a return to victory, holding a seven-point advantage over Arón Canet (Fantic Racing Lino Sonego/Kalex). Jake Dixon (Elf Marc VDS/Boscoscuro) is third and, after once again missing the podium in Jerez, now trails by 20 points.

José Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) secured his third win of the season at the Spanish Moto3 GP, topping the standings with a four-point lead over Ángel Piqueras (Frinsa-MT Helmets-MSi/KTM). Regardless of results, neither will lose their current position: Joel Kelso (LevelUp-MTA/KTM) is third, 30 points behind Piqueras.

The MotoE season kicks off at the French GP, featuring 18 riders on the grid and a new team – Rivacold Snipers Team. Héctor Garzó (Dynavolt Intact GP) defends last year’s title, but several contenders are in the mix, such as his teammate Lorenzo Baldassarri, Eric Granado, Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team), Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar), Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini), and Óscar Gutiérrez (Axxis-MSi).

Below, you can check out the full schedule (CET times) for the French GP, which you can follow in detail here on Motorcycle Sports.
