On a wet track, José Antonio Rueda was the fastest rider in Saturday’s second free practice session for the Moto3 British GP – marking the riders’ first encounter with such conditions this weekend.

Track improvements were evident throughout the 30-minute session, reflected in steady time drops: after the first flying laps, the benchmark was in the 2m27s range, with the fastest time eventually dipping to 2m19s.

David Almansa (Leopard Racing/Honda) stood out by leading for over 20 minutes, consistently improving his time throughout that period. However, he couldn’t hold on in the final phase of FP2.

The Spaniard was overtaken by Álvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo), who was then surpassed by Joel Kelso (LevelUp-MTA/KTM), before Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) clocked the fastest time of 2m19.739s.

Kelso managed to improve again to finish second, albeit 1.690s adrift. Almansa took third, with Carpe in fourth and David Muñoz (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP/KTM) rounding out the top five.
